Paul Oakenfold is a pioneering British DJ and producer who helped push electronic music from underground clubs into global mainstream culture. Best known for trance, progressive and acid house influences, he shaped the Ibiza-to-UK club explosion and became a defining name of the 90s and 00s dance era. Through his Perfecto brand and label, Oakenfold delivered iconic mixes and remixes for major artists including U2, Madonna and Moby, bridging club energy with pop reach. Twice voted #1 in DJ Mag (1998, 1999), he remains a key reference for classic trance and big, cinematic electronic sound that still fits modern radio-driven dance playlists.
